This afternoon we went to Reese's three year old birthday party. Reese's mom Pam and I have been long time friends. I've known Pam since she was in high school. And I am so thankful we are still friends, even with all the changes God has brought into our lives. Reese's party was at Matt's parent's house. Pam, Matt and I used to hang out there a lot when I was single - riding go-carts in the field and swimming in the pool next store. It was great to be back there and remember - we always had such fun together, and still do! Thanks Pam and Matt and your families for being such good and faithful friends to me, and now, to my own little family! It is always wonderful to see friends you don't see very often. The kind of friends where you can "pick up where you left off." And it is always nice to meet new ones too.
Lauren and Anna had a great time jumping on jumpies and playing with all the kids. Anna especially liked riding in the wagon, which was pulled by a small tractor in the field. Reese is such a sweet little girl. I am glad she and Anna are the same age. Hopefully, they will be good friends like their moms are!
