Lauren's Mother's Day Luncheon

Yesterday Lauren's class gave all the mom's a Mother's Day luncheon. The class sang "Skinnymarinkydink" - one of Lauren's favorite songs. It was great - she looked at me so sweetly when she sang the part that says, "I love you." All the kids served their moms the plates of chicken salad and cookie cake for dessert. Lauren made me a card and a butterfly magnet to hang on the frig. I am so thankful the Lord has given me the opportunity to be mom! Lord, help me to cherish each day as a gift from You, seeing things with Your eyes and perspective.
