Girl's Weekend

This weekend we had a girl's weekend! Something I hope to do again. We met for dinner Friday night and then headed to a chick-flick movie. Afterwards we made our way to Lake Arrowhead to stay at Kenn and Tracey's lakehouse for two nights. We stayed up late talking and went shopping at the outlets all day on Saturday!! It was great. I shopped for myself this time, which was very refreshing and enjoying. We didn't cook or straighten up or clean up anything for an entire day! What a great break! I am so thankful the Lord has given me Christian friends to hang out with. We have such a fun time together. They encourage me so much! Our husbands were so kind to take care of everything at home so we could get away to take time for ourselves for the day. What a blessing to be able to have a weekend like this every once in a while! And, it is even more of a blessing to have a family to come home to! I missed them too.
