Olivia's Second Tooth & Other Stuff

Olivia got her second tooth at the beginning of the week! She also had her first fever:( Thankfully she is recovered and feeling much better. And, thankfully the doctor said there were no infections...so, it was probably a virus or something.
Olivia's hair continues to "stand-up" like a crew cut. She is adorable!!! "She is soooo cute!" as Lauren says.
Lately, when Anna is asked how old she is she says, "Eight." Not sure why or where she came up with this. She used to say she was two, holding up each index finger. But even when asked several times, again lately, she definitely says, " Eight" - in a very serious, matter of fact way.
Lauren has tried to pretend read several books. She has a special Bible she was given at her baby dedication that she really likes to hold and page through. She will often try to "read" it. On one occassion she let me show her several of my favorite verses - like Eph. 4:32 and Jeremiah 29:11. She will "read" books to Anna and her dolls by looking at the pictures. She will do this when looking at the pictures of The Hungry Catepillar. She points to all the pictures and is excited when she can "read" the entire book. She also loves to count the each sun ray on the page with the sun - although this can be time consuming:) Lauren does a pretty good job of counting, most numbers are actually in order.
