Odds and Ends

Olivia will often mimick facial expressions ...it is so cute! She is such a happy baby and getting so big. She is seven months old tomorrow! She is standing up when you hold her hands - with a big proud smile.

Lately, after her bath, Anna will run around with a hooded towel saying, "Suuuuper Duck (or Super Lamb - whatever is on the hood). It is very funny - she is so proud of herself! She loves to sing Frosty the Snowman and Jingle Bells ...we will often hear her as she plays. I'll ask Anna if she wants something and she often says, "Nooope" (very short) or "Yaah." She loves to be tickled, saying, "Again, Again, Again." Anna's way of saying Olivia is "Ah-e-y-a."

Poor Lauren has the sniffles today. She still does not like to blow her nose. Not sure why. I was reminded of what she would say when she was two years old and her nose was running - "Running, running, running..." very sadly. She is a cuddler and loves it when we sit together on the couch. Lauren is such a great big sister. About a week ago, Anna woke up in the middle of the night crying because she was sick. Lauren came in with her special lamb stuffed animal to give to Anna to make her feel better. She also does this for Olivia. Lauren sat with Anna until she felt better. Lauren always tries to find ways to help Anna and Olivian feel better when they are upset. We are so proud of how caring you are Lauren!
