Last weekend we celebrated 4th of July with a cookout at my mom's house. There were lots of little kids there for Lauren and Anna to play with. My mom had many outdoor activities for the kids to play with - water toys, pools, sand box, hamock, riding cars - she really went out of her way to make the little ones feel welcome (as always!). Lauren, Anna and Olivia all had matching outfits! Sunday was actually the 4th of July and when we got home from church I watch InTouch with Charles Stanley. He challenged believers to make a 120 day committment to prayer for our country - that the tide would change, that believers would recognize their responsiblity, that we would remember God has answered our prayers in the past, that our country would experience a turning back to the Lord and to truth in general. I have been guilty of not praying for my country and my leaders and have been trying to participate in this 120 day committment of prayer for my country. What if all believers prayed like we are supposed to for our country?
We watched fireworks with Damien, Lisa and Luke. Although the noise scared Luke and Anna at first, they were able to enjoyed most of the show!
