Easter 2010

After church today, we took some family pictures and then headed over to my dad and mom's for lunch. We had a great time visiting with family, eating, hiding Easter eggs, swinging on the hamack and playing outside in the yard. Keith and I are so thankful for both of our families who helped us come to know the Lord and what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. Keith and I watched a dramatic portrayal of the Road to Emmaus on TV last night. It was refreshing to see how Jesus may have really discussed His purpose and plan with these two disciples. Wouldn't it have been an awesome experience to see and talk to Jesus when He walked and lived on the earth?! The drama ended with these Bible verses: This is how God showed His love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live throught Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. I John 4:9-10
