Look how little she is compared to now!
This past Saturday afternoon Lauren was invited to a birthday party for her friend Caroline. It was at Caroline's family farm. They had pinatas and pony rides. Lauren loves pony rides. She has always enjoyed them ever since her first ride when she was 2. Anna loves for someone to read to her. Most nights, as part of her bed time routine, we lay in her bed reading two or so books before she goes to sleep. It's a special time to spend with her, just one-on-one.

I am telling you...Lauren and Alanna are a lot alike. Maybe you can join me in horseback riding lessons one day....I think I have no choice at this point. ;) She has been begging for them since she was 3...so...I think we are going to go for it. I am scared.
