Lauren & Anna

Today we had a garage sale and Lauren and Anna "helped." Lauren was so excited to be at the garage sale and help sell stuff! Lauren is also very friendly. She wanted to play with the little girls that came with their parents - she would help them pick out stuff to buy. Lauren is so sweet - she wants to be friends with almost everyone she comes in contact with and often doesn't understand why others may not be as friendly as she is (which makes me sad for her:( Lauren often tells me I am her "best Mommy and her best friend," of course she has a lot of "best friends," but it always melts my heart anyway. This past Thursday, Lauren and I attended a Mother's Day tea at preschool. Lauren painted me a green and pink teacup magnet and sang "I'm a Little Teapot" with her class.

Anna is learning how to talk more and more. She still has a long way to go but I can see some progress. Anna also prays with her hands folded and her eyes closed. It really is adorable! She loves to "read" her books and loves to be read to. One of my favorite times with her is reading her stories before bedtime. Tonight, she was so tickled at something that she laughed throughout the last story we read. She loves to open her eyes really big and get me to open my eyes really big - she laughs and laughs. It's great!
