Update After So Long...

It's been a while since I have updated our family blog. I am merely using this blog as a sort of journal to help me remember what our family is up to. It's amazing how fast I forget things. Anyway, we are doing well. We went to the beach earlier this month and had a wonderful time. Thank the Lord that Hurricane Ike missed us and we had beautiful weather (aside from some wind). Lauren and Anna loved the beach and we are already looking forward to when we can go again next summer!

We've begun our fall shopping, and Lauren loves changing clothes several times a day. But her favorite outfit is still her bathing suit. She wears one of her bathing suits almost everyday, and if we don't go out that day, she wears it all day! She is even trying to get me to change Anna into her swim suit! Anna was teething for several weeks and wasn't feeling well (which is one reason why my blog didn't get updated). She had a hard time getting enough sleep and didn't want to eat. I commented once that she had "bags" under her eyes because she looked so tired. Yesterday, Lauren asked my mom if Anna had "purses" under her eyes...I thought this was hilarious! As you can see, Lauren picks up on everything...definitely helping me to guard what comes out of my mouth!
